We found this spider tonight at my parents' house in Michigan. I had never seen one like it before, and couldn't find any helpful websites. Anyone recognize it? The orange thing on it was full of white pus, which turned to yellow shortly after getting squashed. :-)

I've seen the same spider. It rode with me to the gas station and when I opened my car door to get out...there it was. I was too terrified to move and a man came and knocked it off the door for me so I could get out. If you find out what kind it is, let me know. My blog is Blogging Days and Blogging Nights
